University of Utah (Utah Valley or UVU) is a publicly funded university that is located in Orem, Utah, United States with a 2011 enrollment of 33,395 students. It is the largest public university in the State of Utah. It also offers approximately 58 bachelor’s degrees, 66 associate degrees, 21 certificate/diploma programs, and 3 high-demand master’s degrees in education, business, and nursing. Utah Valley University is founded in the fall of 1941. In 1969, it is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Northwest Association of Schools and the accreditation have renewed again in 1984, 1995, and 2005. About 88% of students have come from Utah but an increasing number of students come from other states and other countries. The students from Utah Valley University UVU are given place well in national Phi Beta Lambda and Delta Epsilon Chi business competitions.
