University of Vermont or UVM is actually named The University of Vermont and State Agricultural College. It is a public research university. It was established in 1862 in United State of Vermont. It is called as land-grant University. This university is called and well known as the original Public Ivies. It is because this university is considered that can provide a good quality of education compared to the other university. It was actually founded in 1791. It is the fifth college in New England among the other four oldest universities in U.S. The campus is located above 451acre or 183 ha in Burlington, Vermont’s largest city. The facilities in this campus are the student center called the Dudley H. Davis Center, historic University Green,the Fleming Museum of Art, and home of UVM’s athletic teams called Gutterson/Patrick athletic complex. It also has hospital well known as the largest hospital called as the UVM Medical Center. It has primary facility for UVM campus collaborated with the UVM College of Medicine.
