University of Alaska System is the largest campus in Alaska with motto that states to the highest point. It was established in 1975 with the first campus located in Fairbanks. Now, this university has three campuses which the most students from Anchorage region. It is public university with land grant type. The president, James Johusen, is able to lead over 35000 students in this university. University of Alaska System is divided into three universities. The universities are located in Fairbanks as the first university, Juneau as the largest university, and Anchorage as the third component placed in the capital city in Alaska United States. The main campus is placed in Fairbanks. The study facilitiesare such as jet propulsion laboratory, arctic supercomputing center, fisheries and ocean sciences for researches and projects. However, when the population of Alaska is getting small, the numbers of students in these universities are also smaller. That is why the Federal land granted is also small.
