Universite de Montrealhas a motto ‘It shines by faith and knowledge’. This public research is located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It has thirteen faculties, more than sixty departments, and two affiliated schools. It offers more than 650 undergraduate and graduate programs including 71 doctoral programs. It was ranked 113th globally by The times Higher Education World University rankings of 2014-2015. Universite de Montreal has a main campus that located on the northern slope of Mont-Royal in the Outremont and Cote-des-Neiges boroughs. The landmark Pavilion Roger-Gaudry was designed by noted architect Ernest Cormier and named for former rector Roger Gaudry. It is built in the Art Deco style with some elements of international style. The campus in Laval was opened in 2006 and located in the area near the Montmorency metro station. Then, the university announced an expansion of Laval satellite campus with the commissioning of its six-storey Cite du Savoir complex in October 2009. The environment helps to promote collaboration between industries and academics while gratifying Quebec entrepreneurship.
