Mount Allison University situated in Sackville, New Brunswick. It was the 1st university in the British Empire. The university has 3 faculties: Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Social Sciences and Faculty of Science. There are some residences that are open for the students, such as: Campbell Hall, Windsor Hall, Harper Hall, Bennett House, Thornton House, Bigelow House, Edwards House and Hunton House.

The university has about 140 clubs and societies. Its Students’ Union is abbreviated as MASU. It represents both full-time and part-time students at the university. There is campus paper named The Argosy. It is self-governing publication. It is a weekly paper. It is one of the oldest student publications in .It has been producing since 1872.

The notable buildings in the university are Owens Art Gallery and Hammond House. Owens Art gallery is the oldest art gallery of university in Canada. It was opened in 1895. Both buildings were designed by Edmund Burke, a famous Toronto architect.
