Kingston University is also known as Kingston University London, KUL, or Kingston. It is public research university that is sited in Kingston upon Thames, southwest London. It was established in 1899 as Kingston Technical Institute. It got university status in 1992. Its campuses are sited in Kingston and Roehampton. There are many programs of undergraduate and postgraduate that spread over 5 faculties. There are 4 main campuses, such as:
- Penrhyn Road campus is the main campus that is located near the Kingston town centre. It has several facilities, health centre, canteen and a library.
- Kingston Hill campus has own halls and several car parks. It is sited close to the top of Kingston Hill. It is home to Education, Health, Nursing, Music, Business, Law, and Social Sciences.
- Knights Park campus is situated on Grange Road near Penrhyn Road. It is home to Faculty of Art, Design & Architecture and undergraduate courses such as Interior Design, Architecture, Product & Furniture, Art & Design History, Graphic Design, Photography, Filmmaking, Fine Art, Illustration & Animation, and Fashion.
- Roehampton Vale campus is located on Friars Avenue. In this campus, the students study all Engineering courses, except Civil Engineering. The facilities in this campus are engineering workshops, wind tunnel, aeronautical learning resources and flight simulator.
