CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITY CHANNEL ISLANDS

California State University Channel Islands is the youngest in a family-campus California State University’s new campus which was established in 2002. Located in Camarillo is a city in the middle of Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, we could easily find it. Distance from Malibu was not much, just 25 miles away. There is a mission carried by CSU CI contained on four pillars of education that is international, integrative, multicultural, and community engagement. International means that the campus has the curriculum been internationalized because it has a diverse campus community and the opportunity for students to study abroad. Integrative means that CSU CI using interdisciplinary approaches in dealing with various issues on campus. Multicultural means that CSU CI is a campus that reflects the real world and the curriculum used was prepared to face it. Community engagement means that the college strives to provide needed valuable experience and an opportunity to make the world a better place, both for society and for the campus. In the process, we will see that the CI CSU campus inclusion trying to be innovative and always support students so that in the future, all students can face the real world with a better way.
