Brunel University is one of public research universities that are located in London, United Kingdom. It was founded in 1966. It is organized into 3 colleges and 3 major research institutes. At recent, it has about 2,500 staffs and 15,200 full-time students. Brunel has three Academic Colleges, such as: College of Health and Life Sciences, College of Engineering, Design and Physical Sciences, and College of Business, Arts and Social Sciences. Brunel is the first UK University that goes into Formula Student engineering competition. It has racing team that is composed by postgraduate and undergraduate students. The team leader is the MEng Mechanical Engineering students. Brunel has many halls, such as: Clifton Hall, Chepstow Hall, Saltash Hall, Faraday Hall, Fleming Hall, Michael Bevis Hall, Galbraith Hall, and Mill Hall. The halls have many rooms that are available for postgraduates, undergraduates, co habiting couples, and students with disabilities. All rooms in the halls have network access. The Brunel campus, especially the building with Brutalist architectural style, is often appeared in some films and UK television.
