Bournemouth University is one of public universities in United Kingdom. Its main campus is sited in neighbouring Poole. It was established in 1992 as the new university. Presently, the university has more than 16,000 students with over 1,500 international students. The university is familiar for its work in the media industries. It is the home of the Centre for Excellence in Media Practice (CEMP). The students who are graduated from this university have worked in many Hollywood films. It has two campuses; they are: Lansdowne Campus and Talbot Campus. The Landsdowne Campus houses six teaching and administrative buildings, a variety of halls of residence and the students’ union nightclub. The buildings are situated around Holdenhurst Road, Christchurch Road and Oxford Road. The Talbot Campus is sited at Fern Barrow. It is the place where the main University building, library, and students’ union are situated. There are also doctors’ surgery, bars, shop refectories and cafes.
