Binghamton University is public university as a part of SUNY with the other three universities. Besides, it is also well known as space-grant or research of university. It has high activity of research with the endowment approximately $116 million. Located in Vestal, New York, US, this university was established in 1946 named Triple Cities College as the first former name in suburban area. Then, it was renamed become Harpur College from 1950-1965. Although the main campus is located in town of Vestal, Binghamton University also has campus in Binghamton. It is laid above 887 acres or 3.59 km. The president, Harvey G. Stenger, has 641 academic staffs and 16887 students. The students are 13518 students from undergraduates and 3369 students of postgraduates. This university is often called as BU. Based on its study program it has many programs ranging from small liberal arts until big doctoral degrees in six schools and colleges.
