The motto is for the science and art advancement. Auburn University has 26.000 students: 20500 students of undergraduates and 5500 students of postgraduates. This university is well known as the largest university in Alabama. Jay Gogue Ph.D as the president of this university has been able to lead Auburn University becomes the best university.

Auburn University was found in 1856 on February 7th, known as East Alabama Male College. In the first time, this institution was about arts school. It was developed in its curriculum focused in agricultural and arts and the college was renamed to be Agricultural and Mechanical College of Alabama. This four year coeducational was guided by Dr. William Leroy. He believed that discipline was the most important thing. Later, it was expanding and renamed Alabama Polytechnic Institute in 1899 and finally became Auburn University in 1960 until now.
