Western Illinois University was established in 1899 with the name originally Western Illinois Normal and Training School, which eventually changed its name as it is today in 1957 ago. The campus is located in Macomb Illinois is awarded as one of the best mid-western college given by the Princeton Review. Campus also won the other boasts several achievements including as top tier for best regional university given by US News & World Report. Western Illinois University offers many courses and degree options, including 65 baccalaureate degrees, 19 post-baccalaureate certificates, 37 master’s, two undergraduate certificates, 8 pre-professional programs, and two doctoral degrees. Campus divides it into 4 colleges, 41 academic departments and schools, and 612 faculty members. Everything is coordinated in a wonderful harmony for one purpose – to prepare students and graduates to become leaders in the global community.
