University of Oklahoma System is one of coeducational university in Norman. This college was established in 1890. Governor George Washington S launched universities in 1890; they were Normal School, State University and Agricultural and Mechanical University. Then, Agricultural and Mechanical University was changed to Oklahoma State University.
