University of Huddersfield is public university that is sited in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. The main campus of this university is Queensgate campus. It is located in south-east of Huddersfield town centre. The Chancellor opened the Student Centre in 2007. The Students Centre allows the students to access many services, such as: welfare support, library, careers, and computing. The library has 4 floors with many collections. The university is structured into several academic schools, such as: Computing & Engineering; Art, Design & Architecture; Applied Sciences; Business; Education & Professional Development; Music, Humanities & Media; and Human & Health Sciences.

In 2008, the university completed the Creative Arts Building. This building is designed by Darnton EGS. The building has new art and design studios, a recital hall, live recording facilities, and electro-acoustic research studio. There is Storthes Hall that is located from parkland until the south of the town. The hall is completed with more than 1,400 en-suite single, double or disabled bedrooms. The bedroom can be shared for 6 to 8 students.
