University of Alaska Southeast is one of University of Alaska System defined as four year and public University. The main campus of this university is located in rural area of Juneau in Alaska and it also has campuses in Ketchikan and Sitka in Alaska too. It has 3765 students spread in four academic schools, bachelors, and master degrees. For bachelor degree, there are 4 bachelors offered. They are Bachelor of art, liberal arts, business administration, and science in 25 majors or program studies. For master degrees, there are master of education and master of public administration concentrations with 9 study programs. Rick Caulfield as the chancellor has been able to lead the campus to be a good one. University of Alaska Southeast was established in 1987 on the June first as University of Alaska Juneau as the former name. Today, it is accredited to be good university by the northwest commissions or NCCU. Therefore, this campus now is abbreviated into UAS.
