Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania (known as The Rock or SRU) is a public and master’s level university which offers some doctoral programs. The campus is situated in the borough of Slippery Rock in Butler County, Pennsylvania, a safe and friendly community. It was established in 1960 and for the first time, awarded undergraduate and graduate degrees in the liberal arts and in the professions.
