Nottingham Trent University is public university that is located in Nottingham. It was established in 1992 as Trent Polytechnic. This university is the 17th biggest university in the United Kingdom. It has more than 16,800 students in 3 different campuses. The campuses are: City site, Brackenhurst and Clifton Campus.
City campus is situated in the north of Nottingham City Centre. It has students from School of Architecture, Nottingham Business School, School of Social Sciences, Nottingham Law School, Design & the Built Environment, and School of Art & Design. The Boots library is the main library of NTU. It is located in the centre of City Campus. It holds schools of Architecture, Nottingham Business School, Design and the Built Environment, Social Sciences, Art & Design, and Nottingham Law School. It has more than 533,000 books; 2,500 journals; DVDs; magazines and newspapers. There are three zones in the library, such as: quiet study, silent study, and group study.
Brackenhurst Campus has a simulated Veterinary Practice. There are landscaped gardens, woodland and lake in the Brackenhurst campus.
Clifton campus has Computing & Informatics building that was opened in 2006.
