Colorado School of Mines is one higher education institution located in Golden, Colorado, USA which offers several options program for undergraduate and graduate degree. Some program options are offered including applied science and engineering college which covers subjects ranging from physics, petroleum engineering, mining, chemistry, metallurgical and materials engineering, environmental science, and geology. We will also find a selection of doctoral programs are offered in five major earth sciences namely petroleum engineering, mining engineering, Geochemistry, Geophysics, and geology and geological engineering. The school was established in 1874 as the Territorial School of Mines, which then changed its name as it is today in 1876. It is a school which is also home to dozens of research related to the various courses offered. The school also has the highest admission standards for public universities in Colorado and on the list of the highest when compared with any existing public universities in the United States.
