Arkansas state university is one of public university in the United States. This university is known as A-State. It was built as the First District Agricultural School in Jonesboro in 1909 by the Arkansas Legislature as a regional agricultural training school. This campus has some different locations that there are divided into three such as main campus, Jonesboro, Arkansas, Arkansas State University-Paragould, an instructional site of the Jonesboro campus, and Arkansas State University-Querétaro, A future campus planned to open in Querétaro, Mexico. This campus has many alumni that there are 70,000 alumni. Programs at the specialist’s, master’s, bachelor’s and associate degree levels are available through the various colleges: Agriculture and Technology, Business, Education, Engineering, Fine Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, Media and Communication, Nursing and Health Professions, Sciences and Mathematics, and University College. The system of A-State includes campuses in Jonesboro (Craighead County), which offers degree programs through the doctoral level; Beebe (White County), Mountain Home (Baxter County), and Newport (Jackson County).
