Acadia University is mainly undergraduate university that is situated in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. It has one graduate program at doctoral level and some graduate programs at the master level. The Wolfville Campus is home to Acadia University Art Gallery and Acadia University Archives. The university provides more than 200 degree combinations of the Faculties of Professional Studies, Theology, Arts and Pure & Applied Science.
The university has several missions, like: provide personalized & liberal education; support vigorous and respectful educated community; and inspire a variety of students to be lifelong learners, responsible global leaders and critical thinkers.
Acadia Students’ Union represents all of the university’s students. The Union Executive consists of President, Vice President Programming, Vice President Academic, Vice President Finance and Vice President Communications. There is student newspaper named The Athenaeum.
There are round 1500 students who live on-campus spread in twelve residences: Chase Court, Cutten House, Eaton House, Chipman House, Dennis House, Roy Jodrey Hall, Christofor Hall, Whitman Hall, War Memorial House, Raymond House, Seminary House and Crowell Tower.
